Xavier is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Iowa's top teams: Iowa City West, who was ranked 25th at the time (Xavier was ranked 24th). The Saints came up short against the Trojans on Tuesday, falling 5-1. The loss continues a trend for Xavier in their meetings with Iowa City West: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Janesville and Denver finished up their game with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Xavier's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. With that draw, Janesville's record moves to 3-5-2.
