Unity Christian faced Harvester Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Lions claimed a resounding 60-22 victory over the Hawks. Considering the Lions have won seven contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

A big part of Unity Christian's win came down to the chemistry between Miles Schwartz and his top target Tyler Ford. Schwartz threw for 137 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes while Ford rushed for 147 yards and three scores on only six carries. Ford's longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Brady King was in the mix as well, providing Unity Christian with one TD.

Unity Christian pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Harvester Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Unity Christian and Harvester Christian Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Lions see the field they'll take on Johnson Ferry Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Harvester Christian Academy, their break will end when they face Central Christian at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
