Softball Recap: Davenport Central Comes Up Short

Davenport Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Davenport North Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Davenport Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-25. As for Davenport North, their win bumped their record up to 13-19.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Davenport Central by a score of 3-1 later that day.
