Palo Alto won the last time they faced Mountain View and things went their way on Saturday too. The Palo Alto Vikings walked away with a 51-40 win over the Mountain View Spartans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Despite the loss, Mountain View saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kamya Patwardhan dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Patwardhan has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Fiona Lee, who posted eight points along with five assists and three steals.

The victory got Palo Alto back to even at 5-5. As for Mountain View, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.

Palo Alto didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-19 win against MacDonald on the 10th. Mountain View has also already played their next contest, a 65-33 victory against Santa Clara on the 7th.
