Baseball Recap: Forest Park Panthers vs. Riverdale Raiders
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Allatoona, Forest Park was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Riverdale Raiders by a score of 8-4. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
The team relied heavily on Jacoby Hendricks, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with five stolen bases and four runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Andre Turnipseed, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Forest Park was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Riverdale only posted a batting average of .231.
