Football Recap: Warner Robins Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Warner Robins can now relate to. They were dealt a 64-0 loss at the hands of the Cartersville Hurricanes on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Demons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Hurricanes are ranked 18th).

Ellison Dantes threw for 37 yards on three of 11 attempts. Peyton Zitterman was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards. On the ground, Darius Shine Jr rushed for 80 yards on only 11 carries.

Cartersville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Braylon Hill out in front who rushed for 79 yards and three TDs on only ten carries, and also picked up 36 receiving yards. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Hill a new career-high. Nate Russell was another key signal caller, throwing for 224 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.

With the defeat, Warner Robins broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5. As for Cartersville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
