Soccer Recap: Simi Valley Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Simi Valley has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against the Camarillo Scorpions on Tuesday, falling 7-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Pioneers came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Scorpions are ranked 320th).

Simi Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for Camarillo, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Simi Valley will face off against Royal at 4:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Camarillo, they will take on Oak Park at 4:00 a.m. on Friday.
