Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Heritage). They blew past the Landmark Christian War Eagles 17-7 on Thursday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season,  with their most recent  victory being a  14-1  win  on Thursday.
 Kaelynn Sweger was a  major factor no matter where she played. She  pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run any time she's  pitched this season. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with three  runs and three  RBI.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Izabella Sewell, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. Those  two  doubles gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Woodsley Franklin, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Heritage was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .450. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .450 or higher in three consecutive  matchups.
Heritage now  has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Landmark Christian, their loss was  their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-4-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage will square off against Lovejoy at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Landmark Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodward Academy  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
