Basketball Recap: Discovery Takes a Loss

Discovery lost against Lake Balboa College Prep two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Discovery Warriors fell 33-24 to the Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Discovery's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Discovery will head out to challenge Sun Valley Magnet at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, they will head out on the road to square off against Magnolia Science Academy Reseda at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
