Football Recap: Crownpoint Find Success + How To Watch

Crownpoint and Navajo Prep pushed the score to 34-28 the last time they played Navajo Prep, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. Crownpoint snuck past Navajo Prep with a 14-8 win. This was payback for Crownpoint, who suffered a 34-28 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Landen Littleben was nothing short of spectacular: he picked up 108 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 61 yards. Those 61 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

The victory got Crownpoint back to even at 2-2. As for Navajo Prep, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Crownpoint will head out on the road to square off against Wingate at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Navajo Prep, they will welcome Santa Fe Indian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
