Softball Recap: Towns County Comes Up Short

Towns County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Lake Oconee Academy Titans. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly four runs.

Towns County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lake Oconee Academy, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7.

Towns County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-1 loss against Washington-Wilkes on the 4th. As for Lake Oconee Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against Thomas Jefferson Academy on the 2nd.
