After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Righetti, Mendota was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Corcoran Panthers 8-1. Considering Mendota have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Corcoran from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Griselda Ayala led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Mendota is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season. As for Corcoran, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Mendota will face off against Woodlake at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Corcoran, they will take on Madera South in a tournament on Saturday.
