Softball Recap: Hazelwood West Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

Hazelwood West took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Ritenour, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats skirted past the Huskies 3-1. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 10-0 win the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Hazelwood West pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average this season. As for Ritenour, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
