Los Alamitos entered their tilt with Lakewood on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 57-49 victory over the Lakewood Lancers.

Nyemah King and Devoni Ray certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. King posted 24 points, while Ray dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. That was a full 49% of Lakewood's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amy Rubio, who earned six points along with nine boards and seven steals.

Los Alamitos is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Lakewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.
