It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Georgia Christian can now relate to. They fell just short of the Trinity Christian Crusaders by a score of 6-4 on Thursday. The Generals' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Jett Guilliams put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Mac Bowling was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Colton Hall, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Georgia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Trinity Christian, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 18-7.

While Georgia Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
