Baseball Recap: Irondale Comes Up Short

Irondale made up a huge gap compared to their last game against White Bear Lake, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Knights fell just short of the Bears by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Irondale saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Saralampi, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Irondale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for White Bear Lake, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-15.

Looking ahead, Irondale will challenge Osseo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. White Bear Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
