Baseball Recap: New Hanover Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact New Hanover can now relate to. They fell 9-6 to the Cleveland Rams on Friday. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

New Hanover's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Cleveland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

New Hanover does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cleveland, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-6 loss against Cardinal Gibbons on the 12th.
