Holtville entered their tilt with West Shores on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the West Shores Wildcats 36-17.

Melany Estrada was the offensive standout of the match as she posted 14 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mallorie Kellum, who earned four points and ten rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why West Shores lost, don't look at Nayeli Acosta. Despite the final result, she put up 15 points. The dominant performance gave Acosta a new career-high in points.
