Baseball Recap: Hammond Central Comes Up Short

Hammond Central fell victim to Morgan Township and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 11-0 to the Cherokees. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Wolves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hammond Central now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Morgan Township, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Hammond Central will welcome Hammond Morton at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morgan Township, they will head out to face off against South Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
