Soccer Game Preview: Crossroads vs. Viewpoint

Crossroads hasn't had much luck against Viewpoint recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Crossroads Roadrunners will be playing at home against the Viewpoint Patriots at 4:00 p.m. Crossroads is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Crossroads' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Campbell Hall. The Roadrunners' winning goal came courtesy of Izzy Dileo.

Meanwhile, Viewpoint came up short against Brentwood School on Tuesday and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 320th, while the Eagles are ranked 61st).

Viewpoint's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-4. As for Crossroads, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
