Baseball Recap: Murray County Takes a Loss

Murray County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coahulla Creek Colts. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly three runs.

Murray County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Coahulla Creek, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Murray County is set to square off against their familiar foe North Murray at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Coahulla Creek will challenge rival North Cobb Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
