South saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of California.

Meanwhile, Dana Hills also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to El Capitan by a score of 47-40. While losing is never fun, the Dolphins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 600th, while the Vaqueros are ranked 69th).

Dana Hills has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for South, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
