Greenbrier extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 5-1. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Grovetown Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-1 two weeks ago.

As for Grovetown, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Grovetown's part, Coby Eckert put in work while hitting and pitching. He pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, Eckert didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenbrier will challenge Richmond Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grovetown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakeside at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
