Elkhorn South faced Omaha Westside in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Storm's pitchers stepped up to hand the Warriors a 3-0 shutout. The win was familiar territory for the Storm, who have now won three games in a row.

Elkhorn South saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Brumbaugh, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Elkhorn South's victory bumped their record up to 23-12. As for Omaha Westside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-8.
