Baseball Recap: Servite Takes a Loss

Servite and Foothill squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Servite had to settle for second. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Friars haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Servite's loss dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Foothill, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season.

Servite does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Foothill, they will square off against Yucaipa at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Knights 3.4, the Thunderbirds 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
