Baseball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Wesleyan's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Wesleyan won the last time they faced The Weber School and things went their way on Wednesday too. Wesleyan blew past The Weber School 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won five games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Grayson McCollum was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brice Gillis, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Wesleyan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. The Weber School has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
