Basketball Recap: Nipomo Takes a Loss

If Nipomo was riding high fresh off their 59-27 takedown of Pioneer Valley last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Nipomo Titans lost 54-33 to the Atascadero Greyhounds on Thursday. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Greyhounds from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

With the loss, Nipomo broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-11. As for Atascadero, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nipomo will face off against Santa Maria at 6:45 p.m. on January 16th. As for Atascadero, they will challenge Yosemite at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
