Softball Recap: Northwood-Kensett Takes a Loss

Northwood-Kensett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Hancock Eagles. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

Northwood-Kensett's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for West Hancock, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-12.

Northwood-Kensett didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-4 defeat against North Butler on the 23rd. As for West Hancock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-0 loss against North Union on the 23rd.
