Baseball Recap: Chestatee Takes a Loss

Chestatee made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Rabun County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The War Eagles fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the War Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Chestatee dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Rabun County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chestatee will take on Lanier Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Rabun County, they will challenge Union County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
