McCook had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 66-52 win over the Chase County Longhorns. The Bison pushed the score to 55-35 by the end of the third, a deficit the Longhorns cut but never quite recovered from.

Brody Graham went supernova, going 6-for-8 en route to 13 points and six assists. Bryson Gullion was another key player, putting up 11 points and five rebounds.
