Softball Recap: Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Has No Trouble Against Hephzibah

The Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots got the win against the Hephzibah Rebels on Wednesday by a conclusive 24-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Abigail Brown (Sr) made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Brown (Sr) was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

In other batting news, Georgia School for Innovation & Classics let Ana Chanin (Sr) and Anna-Katherine Stenger (Jr) run wild. Chanin (Sr) got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI, while Stenger (Jr) went a perfect 5-for-5 with five runs, two triples, and two RBI. Karley Prescott (Jr) was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with five runs.
