Football Recap: Otis-Bison Starts Season with Win on the Road

Otis-Bison had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They claimed a resounding 62-0 victory over the Western Plains Bobcats. The Cougars' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Otis-Bison's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gavin Alloway, who rushed for 78 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. Those 78 rushing yards gave Alloway a new career-high. Aiden Ochs-Lohrey was in the mix too, providing Otis-Bison with two TDs.

Looking ahead, Otis-Bison will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against South Barber at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Western Plains, they will venture away from home to challenge Pawnee Heights at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
