Nipomo is 8-2 against Santa Maria since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Santa Maria, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Cabrillo on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won 14 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Santa Maria pushed their record up to 18-2-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those six matchups. As for Nipomo, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-18-1.

Nipomo suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Santa Maria in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can Nipomo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
