Soccer Recap: Humboldt Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Humboldt has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against the Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers on Tuesday, falling 9-0. That's two games in a row now that Humboldt have lost by exactly nine goals.

Humboldt's loss dropped their record down to 13-4-1. As for Storm Lake St. Mary, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3-2 record this season.

Humboldt will head out to take on Hampton-Dumont/CAL at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Storm Lake St. Mary, they will host Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
