            Academy of Richmond County won the last time they faced Baldwin and things went their way  on Friday too. Academy of Richmond County was the clear victor by  a  15-1 margin over Baldwin. With that  win, the Musketeers brought their scoring average up to 6.2  runs per game.

 Brooks Dickinson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run over five innings pitched. Dickinson was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Academy of Richmond County let  Sam Roberts and  Parker Skedsvold run wild. Roberts  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances, while  Skedsvold  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances. That's the most  runs  Skedsvold has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Ben Wright, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Academy of Richmond County  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .634. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The  victory made it two in a row for Academy of Richmond County and  bumps their season record up to 5-10. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to  hits: they averaged an imposing 9.5  hits in those games compared to only 4.38 in the others. As for Baldwin,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-12.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Academy of Richmond County will face off against Hephzibah at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Baldwin, they will square off against Peach County at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Peach County will roll in looking for their  12th straight  win, something Baldwin surely won't give up without a fight.
