Soccer Recap: Bloom Takes a Loss

Bloom was the 3-0 winner over Thornton when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blazing Trojan came up short against the Wildcats on Thursday, falling 4-1. Bloom have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their goal came courtesy of Erik Hernandez, who's now up to three this season.

Bloom's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Thornton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6-1 record this season.

Bloom didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Blue Island Eisenhower on the 26th. As for Thornton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 5-3 win against Marian Catholic on the 26th.
