Briarwood Academy waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Westminster Christian Academy Lions, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Buccaneers have posted since April 4, 2024.

Briarwood Academy's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer Thigpen, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
