Baseball Recap: Comstock Takes a Loss

Comstock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 15-0 to the Kalamazoo Christian Comets. If the Colts were looking for revenge after losing 10-6 to the Comets when the teams met back in May of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Comstock's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19-1. As for Kalamazoo Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Comstock will host Coopersville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kalamazoo Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Galesburg-Augusta at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Comets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
