Baseball Recap: Heritage Preparatory Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Heritage Preparatory can now relate to. They came up short against the Westwood Wildcats on Friday, falling 15-0. The Rams' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Heritage Preparatory saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lance Hudgins, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Heritage Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14-1. As for Westwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Heritage Preparatory does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westwood, they will face off against David Emanuel Academy on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
