            Baseball Recap: Mays Raiders vs. M.L. King Lions        
        
		
        
        
            Mays managed to slip by M.L. King the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mays Raiders came up short against  the M.L. King Lions on Thursday, falling  11-5. The Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

  Andre Brown made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole  Three bases. while  getting on base  in both of his plate appearances. Those  two  runs gave  him a new career-high.  TyReon Byner was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases and one  RBI.
Mays' defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for M.L. King, they now  have a winning record of 6-5.
 Looking ahead, Mays will head out on the road to  face off against  Pace Academy  at 5:55  p.m.  on Friday. Mays has given up an average of 6.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for M.L. King, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Drew  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. M.L. King is facing Drew at the right time seeing as Drew is stuck on  a  seven-game losing streak.
