With a playoff win on the line, Santa Rosa Academy rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Jurupa Hills Spartans by a score of 3-1. The win was nothing new for the Rangers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Jackie Castenada and Chloe Heiner scored all three of Santa Rosa Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Santa Rosa Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three matchups. As for Jurupa Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Coming up, Santa Rosa Academy will square off against Fontana at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Fontana's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Santa Rosa Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. Jurupa Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
