Softball Game Preview: Duluth Wildcats vs. Decatur Bulldogs

The Duluth Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Decatur Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Duluth came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-2 to South Forsyth. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the War Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Chayanne Mitchell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Decatur gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Midtown. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
