Soccer Game Preview: Pitman vs. Merced + Official Tickets

The Pitman Pride will take on the Merced Bears in a holiday battle at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Pitman is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Central Valley on Friday. The Pride and the Hawks finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Pitman's goal came courtesy of Hayden Hopwood Hopwood, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Merced fell victim to Stockdale and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Mustangs.

Merced's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-1. Pitman's draw makes their record 1-0-1 this season.

Pitman took their win against Merced in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 8-1 score. Will the Pride repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
