Avery Stone continued her hot streak on Wednesday by dropping her third-straight game with at least three hits. She turned in her biggest game of the season, scoring five runs and stealing three bases while going 5-for-5. Perhaps even more impressive was her lead-up to Wednesday's game, in which she improved her previous run total for three consecutive games.

Even though Stone couldn't lead Academy for Classical Education over Berrien, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Stone's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Gryphons' three-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Stone and the Gryphons surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
