Baseball Recap: Plainfield South Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Plainfield South came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-2 to the Oswego East Wolves. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered against the Wolves since April 24, 2017.

Plainfield South's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6. As for Oswego East, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plainfield South will square off against Schaumburg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Oswego East, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Joliet Central at 4:30 p.m.
