Basketball Recap: Addy Bowlin's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Scottsbluff over Century

The Scottsbluff Bearcats ended up a good deal behind the Century Patriots on Thursday and lost 64-48. The loss put an end to the Bearcats' undefeated start to the season.

Several Bearcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addy Bowlin, who went 8-for-15 to rack up 19 points. Bowlin has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: she's posted one of at least 53% every time she's hit the court this season. Brilee Burford was another key player, putting up ten points and seven rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Scottsbluff fell to 2-1.

Scottsbluff has already played their next matchup, a 54-31 win against Campbell County on the 12th. Century has also already played their next contest (against Thunder Basin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
