Softball Recap: Forest City Comes Up Short

Forest City's last matchup with Clear Lake could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Indians came up short against the Lions, falling 13-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Indians haven't been shut out since back in June.

Forest City's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-9. As for Clear Lake, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-10.

Forest City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clear Lake, they have already played their next matchup, a 12-7 loss against Center Point-Urbana on the 12th.
