Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Allatoona). They were the clear victor by a 17-2 margin over the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Buccaneers, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Allatoona got a massive performance out of Anthony Planeta, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Cruz Paul, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Allatoona always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .733. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory (which was Allatoona's fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Southeast Whitfield County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
