Football Game Preview: Tescott Trojans vs. Chetopa Hornets

After each having a week off, the Tescott Trojans and the Chetopa Hornets will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on November 7. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tescott will head out to face Chetopa after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. The Trojans were outmatched by Cunningham and fell 58-12. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Chetopa played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Marais des Cygnes Valley, falling 67-20. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-13.

Chetopa's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Tescott, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

Everything came up roses for Tescott against Chetopa in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, as the team secured a 55-6 victory. In that matchup, the Trojans amassed a halftime lead of 55-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on November 7.
