Soccer Recap: Lemoore Takes a Loss

Lemoore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Tulare Western Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 977th, while the Mustangs are ranked 234th).

Lemoore's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14-3. As for Tulare Western, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5-1.

Looking ahead, Lemoore will head out to take on Hanford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tulare Western, they will be playing at home against Tulare Union at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tulare Western is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
